Summertime

24C degrees in Rotterdam (totally lovin' it) and I'm sneezing my ass off, spring is in the air...aaaatchoooo! Bless me!

Only 6

Oh yes, only 6 days to go until I'm on the plane again....to the States!!!!!! lol. Dang, I can't wait. It's been over a year since I was there and man, do I wanna go right now? Yessir! ♥

Dutch bank account

Tomorrow I'm going to the bank and ending my Dutch account...should have done that 300 years ago when I left Holland. But never late then never...And I gotta find some liquid for my contact lenses. Do you know how dry my eyes were when I coke up this morning...sleeping with my contacts on...aaaaoooch!

Good thing there is laptops, then I don't have to sit alone in the hotel bar and eat by myself...Skype company and a glass of wine. Then I can work all evening. I don't care. A business trip is a business trip, so what else to do than work? lol.

It's 19 degrees C here in Rotterdam, and I'm lovin' it. I remember now that it's so much nicer weather here than back home in Sweden. At lunch today I went to the Chineese restaurang, which I went to at least 1 time a week when I lived here. And the guy recognized me and asked where I've been and how long I'm staying. Such cute lil' chineese guy, lol.

Well, back to work...

Senile?

Who forgets the fluid for the contact lenses and the tooth brush? The cups for the lenses and tooth paste is here, but the most important parts...who the crap forgets that at home? ME, that's right. Gotta find a pharmacy tomorrow morning cause my eys will be dry as a desert and mouth smell like a dead animal...yaaaay!

Twitter

I just signed up for Twitter, let's see how that works, lol

Long time no see

Yeah I know been kinda out of the loop lately and been really bad updating my blog. Today I've been really active and done so many things I'm having a hard time beliveing myself that I did all this, lol:
  • Filled in the tax return form
  • Paid the bills
  • Applied for the ESTA Visa waiver program
  • Put out all winter cloths in the storage room
  • Big time grocery shopping
  • Cleaning the crib from floor to roof
  • Ordered some stuff online for Jenn, to bring to the States
  • Booked a business trip to Rotterdam, leaving tomorrow
And now I'm going to cook some food and pack my bag...

Control

You in control? lol

As close to broke you can get

I got 27,11 SEK (which is basically 3 bucks) left on my account and it's 13 days until pay day, yaaaay. Good thing I was home at the folks this weekend and got some food from mom. I feel like a home less person..except that I got a home, lol. But I only have myself to blame...trips (USA, France and Turkey), sun glasses, cloths, shoes and a camera. I did it again, but hey...you only live once and soon the tax money will come and I'll be back to normal =)

Not much

I totally forgot to blog the last few days and now I can't really think of anything special to write about. This weekend I booked my trip to Turkey in August, took a walk, did Ms Karners hair for their Las Vegas party, went to Shamash moving in Party, went out to Park Lane, drove to Varberg to have dinner with the fam and now I'm back and should def go to sleep...especially since I'm dead in the mornings, lol.

I want summer!

Trip searching

Some of you might wonder what I do when I'm surfin online...and let me tell you, lol. Half of the time I'm searching for air fees. Good cheap tickets to see if I can travel somewhere. My top 5 sites are:

1. Orbitz.com (USD...really good if the dollar is low)
+ You will find trips all over the world here to a good price
-  You cannot search +/- days

2. KLM.com (Nice sales every now and then)
+ Good connections with North America and the rest of the world
-  You have to pay high taxes when you book Award flight with your   miles

3. seat24.com (Selection of all airlines and partners)
+ A huge selection airlines
-  Not always the lowest prices

4. elong.net (if your in Asia)
+ Good prices on air fares within Asia
-  Not a big selection if your outbound flight is from Europe

5. SAS.se (If your flying a lot in Scandinavia/Europe
+ Easy to book Eurobonus trips/hotels etc.
-  Not a good site for searching for International (outside EU) fares

I also got to mention Ryanair.com...not my favourite at all, but worth mention if you wanna find a cheap cheap ticket for a couple of EUR's. But be ware that you have to pay everything additional. You have to pay for paying the ticket, pay to check in your luggage. They weigh your carry one (max 10kg) and no seating...meaning you have to stand in line for a while if you want to sit next to your buddy.

If you have any other good sites, let me know!

PS. I love to travel, lol

The new me

I haven't been to the hair salon in like 2 years...I think it was may 2008 when I was home from Holland for a few weeks so I thought it was time now, lol. Firts I though dye my hair and get a bang. I always wanted an afro, but I still wanna keep my long hair, so this is the result...a 10 cm cut and curls =)

Great Eastern in France

Just got back from a 4 day trip to France with the bestes Sofia and I miss France already.

First day we just chilled and to the vespa down to Le Lavandou...and man the candy there down in the harbor was a kodak moment, especially for these two ladies who doesn't eat candy =) The strawberrys looked amazing...

Then one day we went up to the small centre up in Bormes to have a look at the view and Sofia showed me around the village. It's so beautiful here and the view is so beautiful.

We went to the market in St-Tropez Saturday for some shopping and lunch. Never been there before so I was really excited going there and I can imagine in the summer when all the celeb is there and partying, lol. But this was good enough to be there and just walk around and see it. But if I go there during the summer, we will most definitley go there to check the "circus" lol.

Oh and on the market, they sold second hand brand bags, and one Hermes Birkin bag in ostrich skin was 7000 EUR. Man, not even a new bag, a second hand bag...7000 EUR!!! This lady who had done more surgery than Michael Jackson was investigating the bag. I just say, wow. You should have seen it, lol.

And of course, the day we took a 2 hour walk along the coast, I forgot my camera. But next time I will be in Bormes I will take some pics of the wine yards and the amazing French coast. Just driving on the country side in Provance, seeing all the wine yards, castles...everything. I just love it and could definitley stay there permanently, lol.

Thank you Le Provencal ♥
