San Francisco

This morning I went for a jogg in San Jose. I was lost for a while but then sudden I was at the right street, MacArthur Ave. 40min I was back at the Dee's house. Then we decided to go to SAN FRANCISCO...

Kinda cold..to be picky. San Francisco was too foggy today so we went looking for the Lombard Street and we finally found it. WOW this was so cool. 5MPH was steh speed limit :D After this steet we went to Fishermen's Warf and Pier 39. It was cold as shit so we just had some lunch and went back to Sunny San Jose. I like San Jose a lot and Kristofer's aunt Dee Dee (her name is Diana) is a lovely lady. So funny and very kind to let us stay with her while we're here. Thanks Deeds!
Tonight we're going to see The Dark Knight...wiiiii!

New York, L.A & Las Vegas

3 new destinations on my travelling list. After the days in San Jose and Santa Cruz I took a flight to NEW YORK to see my friend B. He's home in NYC for the summer and I always wanted to go to New York this was a perfect opportunity, So another 5 hours on the plane from San Francisco to JFK. We just chilled, played some hoops, lifted some weights, went our running in Central Park. His boy D was there visiting also from Dallas so we went out partying on the Saturday and saw the movie Hancock on the Sunday. I had no idea what the movie was about...but Hancock, he's a super hero :D

We really wanted to get tix to The Dark Knight at Imax, but they were sold out every day. I gotta see the movie before I leave for Europe. Last day me and B went to the American Museum of Natural History. Wow, we could probably have spend a day or two there, but my flight back to Cali stopped us.

Well, the trip back to Cali was more or less like a trip to Europe. 8 fucking hours on the plane. We sat on the plane for 8 hours...waiting. It was raining in NYC and we had over 25 planes standing in line in front of us, waiting to take of on the runway bafore us...so we waited for 3 hours to tale off. Stupid trip.
Well, back in San Francisco like 3 in the morning, Kristofer and Thomas cam pick me up. We got some sleep and then the next day we just chilled at Dee's house. It's Kristofers aunt and we always stay at her place when we're in San Jose.

Then the ROADTRIP started...
first stop LOS GATOS...checked out the Lamborghini in Silicon Valley and then we continued towards I-1. What can I say about high way 1...it was the most amazing road I ever took. I will post pictures when I'm back in Europe (forgot my USB cable) Then we stopped at the Hearst Castle in SAN SIMEON. After this we drove all the way to LOS ANGELES-HOLLYWOOD.

We checked in at the Holiday Inn 2 blocks from the "Walk of fame", We stayed here for 2 days, I went out running every morning then the guys started to drink beer. We saw the bands Vains of Jenna and Innocent Rosie at Whiskey n' Gogo. Swedish guys...from Falkenberg and Varberg...go SWEDEN! Monday morning we checked out at 11 and decided to drive to LAS VEGAS, Nevada.

And OMFG, the average temperature was 104F, which is about 40 degrees Celcius. At midnight it was even 104. And in the middle of the day it was about 110F, which is about 43 degrees. Geeeez, it was warm as hell. We wanted to drive to Grand Canyon and Hoover dam but that would have been another 10 hour in the car and we were kinda tired so we drove back to San Jose instead. And now here we are again. Tomorrow we will go to San Francisco...

Much love...

San Jose & Santa Cruz

Finally I'm in Sunny California. Flew in to SAN FRANCISCO Wednesday...kinda cold comparing to Seattle...

Me, Kristofer and Thomas went to the shopping mall in SAN JOSE first morning.to check the new iphone out. So the mall opened at 10, so we diceided to be there at 930. and there was already a line. But before standing in line I had to ask if I could buy the phone without any service, but no...so no point of buying the iphone. It's a beauty tho'.

After the shopping mall we went to THE BIGGEST SHOE STORE I ever seen. I was in Shoe paradise, halleluja! I took a picture but forgot my cable for transfer...Will post it later. Then after spending money on 4 pair of shoes, Victoria Secret stuff, some other cloths and a bikini we decided to go to Capitola. We had some drinks and more drinks and then after a couple of hours we decided to go to SANTA CRUZ. There we had even more drinks and had to get a hotel room cause we could not drive home to San Jose. Then today we had some breakfast and then took off to MONTEREY to check the famouse Aquarium.

Then back in San Jose this evening I took a run in my new jogging shoes. 35min downtown San Jose and I didn't see 1 single person out walking or running. Only cars, cars and cars...But now I'm about to lose all my money on poker so I have to quite writing now.

Seattle

Grandpa Simpson! What is the similarities between him and me?

After a 25hour trip I was finally in Seattle. I left my apartment at 0900 am Saturday morning and was in Seattle arount 0200am local time. Amsterdam-Detroit-Atlanta-Seattle...nightmare trip. But there 24hours passed pretty fast anyway. My flight was delayed about 1 hour from Atlanta due to bad weather that we had to fly around. And this meant that we missed the ferry out to Vashon Island. But Sunday morning I took a run down town Seattle. Started at pier 48 and ran alongside the other piers at the water. Very nice, very warn and very crowded...

But Sunday afternoon we took the ferry to Vashon Island.

Some bbq and just relaxing. I thing we stayed up until 7am this morning...no problem for me...at 0700...not even tired. But a couple of hours earlier, around 8-10pm...then I got some problems...Let me refer to Grandpa Simpson :)
Sometime between 0700/0800 am I got outside and laid down on the terrace in my bikini. Not even cold...LOVE IT!
And this afternoon we've been at the Kennedy High School, P was training his kids...damn hard...one of them threw up at the football practice. I didn't do the football...lol but I shot some hoops, did some weight training and did some jump training. Just finished my meal of fried chicken...yummie!

Have you found out what Grandpa Simpson and I have in common?

Summer Shopping

I said I wasn't gonna shop anything until I go to the Staes, but When looking into my closet I didn't have any of my summer cloths here...perhaps they are in Gothenburg in my storage room...hmmm, weird. Can't find them. But I'm not sad, that just mean I could do some shopping before USA :D I expect good weather and beaches in Cali, so what's better than some summer dresses? This is what I bought...

Well, my colleague David just came back from his holiday in Cali and he said High Way 1 is closed due to the fires...Shit! That was our plan High Way 1...I hope that the might open it again...like within 2 weeks...because on the 26th we're going to see Innocent Rosie in LA. It's a band from Sweden (Varberg) who have a gig there, some friends of Kristofer.

32 minutes

This is how long I was running today. Second time out running after the sprained ankle accident and do you know what the hard part is? Don't look tired, run fast as hell and quite and don't breath like a hyper astmatic person. At least when you're running in a city where there is people everywhere. Today about 30 C degrees, I came running trying my best to not to do the above mentioned things, and I think everybody was out sitting out eating and drinking today...but me. The people looked kinda weird at me, but what did I care. I was too focused on what not to do and what to do...like not sprain the ankle again.

I've had like 2 really hard weeks at work but today at 4.30pm something lit up my day. In a parcel with some SW CD's that came from sweden...there was a gift for me...from the 3 sweetest girls in the office in Sweden. Some Swedish Candy! Guess if i was happy. That really made my day. Thanks Sonja, Sofia and Elisabeth! Puss!

I'm also trying to find an appropriate dress for the wedding in August. I think I need something colorful, like pink or turquoise. I hope that I will find the dress in the States. Oh and shoes, I really whant high heels, like HIGH heels, but then I'll be even taller, taller than probaly most people in that wedding. hmmm, lots to think about :)

Sleeting time for me now...
