The Kräftskiva in Smögen

Here's some pics from yesterday and today :D Good thing they made me go with em' cause this was super fun and oh I love clay fishes, too yummie!

We brought Pytt i panna and eggs for the first meal of they day, it was really good but we were hungry anyways on the car ride home, so outside Uddevalla we stopped at McD and I had 9 pieces of Nuggets and a cheesburger. Perfect food for a day like this. We listened to Magnus Uggla the whole way back, I think...I passed out the last hour so they might have listened to something else.

I need some sleep now!

Last piece of France

We planned to make a huge dinner for all 23 people but realized it was too much work, so we cooked in the groups instead and sat down for a great, but super hot, dinner by the pool. The sun was frying us so there was almost fight about the sun umbrellas...lol. But during the day we had to prepare our garlands of flowers to put on our heads as normal Swedish Midsummer tradition. And some dancing was also on the schedule...

Ok and we had to do some dancing...
...even though that we didn't have any "Midsommarstång"

Cabris All-Star team 2009 says bye bye!

Next part of France

We also had a birthday party...J turned 30 (really 31) but 30 sounds more party, so we had a B-day party for the 30-year old B-day boy. Everybody got dressed up and we had a big dinner together at Mas Du Vallon.

The warmest day of the week we decided to go to Monaco to check out all the luxury...31 C degrees in the garage, dayme! The yachts was the bigget ones I ever seen and the cars...OMG! But do we look like tourists or what? hahahha!

So, this will be todays blog since it takes forever to upload pics.
Part 3 will end this France blog =)

THE week in France

On June 12th I took a flight to Marseille to meet up with the G-burg ppl who flew out the daye before me. Anton and Jesper came to Marseille to pick me up. Thank you Anton, you know you're my favourite! We drove for like 15 hour to Bormes Les Mimosas to Sofia's house. We stayed there for the night and spend the start of next day by their pool...and a thanks to my girl SOFIA for that...=)

Around lunch we started to drive towards Cabris, along the French riviera...and WOW the Mediterranean is freaking amazing. After 3 hours driving along the coast up in the mountains we where finally at the mansion...

23 sweet people spent 7 days in this huge house and it was a blast, we cooked dinner at home every evening, chilled by the pool, took day trips to other cities, went to visit a few wine yards, spend some days by the ocean, went out for morning runs (only 2 out of 7 days tho')...yeah I will just show you some pics now that will show how the trip continued...

The day trip to Cannes...

A day @ the wine yards...

To be continued...
(takes forever to upload pics, I gotta sleep now)

Last weekend in Shanghai

(Get ready of the longest blog entry ever made by me…)
And yes I know I'm late...this was supposed to be entered 3 weeks ago...

Friday
Since my friends had to study, Lan and Shamash were studying hard core…, I decided to go to the office for a few hours, since yesterday I didn’t finish everything with the accountant at the office. At 2pm I had to meet Lan and Shamash at the tailor, we were going to pick up our cloths, yay!

First picking up the shirts…2 of 4 was a match, so they had to fix them and then they would deliver them to us later that night to the apartment. Obviously my arms had become so much bigger that I couldn’t button the arms…or same problem as the buttons on the front …crocked. That’s way you should always try it on when you pick up your tailor made cloths so they can correct the small mistakes for you before you pay for it. My shirts were good comparing to Lan’s, hers had so many more problems and sowing mistakes than mine. But later that night when they delivered them to us, all of our 8 shirts (Lan 4 and me 4) fitted and were corrected.

Ok, back to the tailor. We went to pick up the dresses, oh wow they were so pretty…My olive green one, I just love it. She just had to take it out like 0,5cm under my chest so I could breathe in it, lol. The pink one, they took off 3cm so it became a lil’ shorter. They also corrected Lan’s 2 dresses, but she will go back next week to pick em’ up. After the dresses we went to the 3rd place to pick of the flower dress, but they weren’t ready so they would deliver that to the apartment the next day. Then last place, picking of the 3 dresses/shirts…and thank god, they fitted perfect. I love them.

Then it was Shamash turn to find some suits and shirts. The result was an order of 2 suits, 1 vest and 5 shirts for a total sum of 1500 RMB. I can’t believe how cheap it is, but I do know that if I had more time I would also made a few suits and skirts, you cannot find it that cheap anywhere…and its tailor made to fit you. Talk about loving shopping!

We got tired of the shopping and took a walk to see if we could find some of the delicious lamb skewers just a few blocks away from the tailor, and yes we did…1 RMB/ pcs. And this is the area where you can get any food that can be cooked on 2 wheels. Friday dinner about 10 RMB/ person, which is 13 SEK =) Then we walked right into the “old Shanghai” or I think it was the name of it. These old Chinese house which they have made a bit modern that the old original houses and they filled the whole area with small shops and restaurants.

After a whole afternoon, since 2pm…it was now 9pm and our feet where hurting so before going home we took a taxi to get a foot massage. 60minutes for 40RMB…I can’t complain that anything is expensive here so…we only live once and gotta enjoy it! Baby feet after those 60 minutes, didn’t walk on them, haha.

Saturday
Someone pushed the door up and yelled, Good morning, wake up…at 8.30am Saturday morning. It was not me because I was dead and I think Shamash was also dead in his room…so that leaves it to Lan. She was on something that’s for sure. Caffeine or maybe just life? Who knows…Anyhow we had to get up and get some breakfast…so we could make it to the gym and be back in the apartment before 11.30am, when they were coming to deliver the last piece of cloths. Rush rush rush, but at the gym they showed some NBA so being on the treadmill was a lot easier, Paul Pierce you’re my god!!! Lol

Saturday afternoon, what to do? We took a taxi to People Square and walked around for a few hours…we followed one of the “wanna buy a watch, bag, shoes?” but no lock of finding anything interesting. And thirsty we were, since it was over 30C degrees outside, we sat down to have a beer/wine and some snacks.

We heard that there as a market somewhere on this street but didn’t know where, so we called Markus, their friend and he gave us the address. We were at house number 58 and the market was on 508…Start walking people! Finally we found it and I could purchase the last stuff that I needed. My shopping was completed…or to say, my bags where filled and I couldn’t buy any more.

Got in a hurry when we realized that the time was so late, like 8pm…we had to get food and then visit Markus in the hospital. I got to chose since this was my last weekend, and we actually went back to the Teppanyaki place on Zhangjia Bang Lu. Gotta love the taste on that food. Hurry back to the apartment to get a shower, Shamash went to Tesco to get some stuff to Markus…it was after 9.30pm (I think) when we left the apartment to go to the hospital…we stayed until 12 midnight and by then the alcohol in our bodies started to go away and none of us really felt like going out partying at a club so we walked through Xintiandi and looked at some ppl before taking a taxi back home.

Sunday
Last day in Shanghai… We had set up a brunch with Andreas and Cormac at this Italian place, Dolce Vita, at 12pm. And before that I had to ship home the box with sloth that couldn’t fit in my suitcases…So, 3 jackets and 3 vests was hipped to a cost of 400. It will be in Sweden within 1 month. Not too bad. We had brunch with them in 32C degree heat, sitting outside…sweating. It was good to see them again and had a great pizza =)

The rest of the day we just chilled...

All my best from Shanghai

Peking duck

Thursday, a day that we planned in the office, It wasn’t planned that I was going to be there today, from the beginning, but as the training took longer than expected and I had the time we decided that this day was necessary. At 6pm we had to leave the office for the dinner they planned with the sales staff, Cormac and Andreas, who just arrived from Sweden. I never had Peking Duck, but oh my…it as good. Kinda like tacos, you have your “burrito” bread and then take the duck and all other stuff to fill it, on with the sauce and you have yourself a yummy piece of food…lol. After a super good dinner, we said bye to the TC staff and Cormac, Andreas and me went looking for somewhere to sit and have a few drinks…easier said than done. Well, not like at home that there are bars and restaurants that serves most alcoholic beverages, but restaurants where you eat and no bar…and we weren’t really sure where to look so we walked around for a while. Then finally we found something that looked like a bad, but in the bar they only had tea…but on the menu we found 1 page with something stronger than tea. And I couldn’t resist the mango ice shake. Everything that contains any sort of “exotic” fruit I need to have…mango, pineapple, water melon…etc…a shake, and ice cream a ice shake…you name it but I gotta have it, just love it. And when you travel to warmer countries (than Sweden at least) all these fruits are so cheap =) Talking the taxi home that evening was going to be a test, I had no note on the street the apartment was so I had to remember the names or the crossing and trying to say it in Chinese so the taxi driver understood me…Let’s say like this…I made it my first attempt…wohooO! Ok I can’t even spell it but know how to say it…ask me the next time you see me, hehe.

Still waiting

Ok, still waiting to go home...still @ the hotel...Ease Hotel...kinda nice but now I just wanna go home. Checked in, and now I will take my "small" ags and leave to the departure hall.

See you at home!

Pudong Airport

Sitter here and waiting on my delayed flight...due the svineflu they need to inspect all passangers and what not before they leave the aircraft from Amsterdam...shit I hope I will make my flight when changing in Amsterdam...

I bought some noodles for lunch and they price, 78 RMB for some noodles and a the smallest bottle of Evian I've ever see...[No like!] lol. I also wanted to get my nails done a last time, but they wanted 100 RMB for a re-fill...I wouldn't think so!

My flight was supposed to departured 4 minutes ago...but the ppl haven't even got off the plane from AMS, so I guess about 1 more hour...since 500 passangers needs to get off the plane, the plane need s to be cleaned and all that. Lucky me who found some bad internet connection so can blog a lil'.

Chillin' at Zhaojiabang Lu

We haven't bee doing much today, we stayed in the whole day and about @ 5pm we went out to play some hoops. Me and Lan went to the court and rented the basketball, played for 1 hour then ran a few laps on the tracks next to the court. I made a few push ups, like 20 and I think I stretched my left chest muscle a lil'. haha, I need to do push-ups more frequently =)

And for dinner we thought we'd get out of the house and went to this Kantonees place where all other Chinees ppl planned their dinner exactly when we where. Almost full the whole place but we got a table and had another delicious meal. Chicken, beef with vegetables, spring rolls, dim sum, spinach sallad and melon shake to drink...what can I say, I love the food here! Not unhealthy or so, only meat and vegetables...ok some of it is fried but still.

Our standard dinner pic =)

On the way home from the dinner, we passed this place and I wanted to do my nails so in we went...I did min ugly nail biting nails to nice long once 180 SEK, Lan did a manicure 30 SEK and Shamash got his beard shaved 15 SEK.

Finally pretty nails!

Korean BBQ and Xintiandi

Their 3rd roomie Markus is in the hospital, since 1 week back. They haven't put a diagnoze on him yet, but he's not well, so I joined Lan and Shamash to the hospital to say hi. After that we took a taxi to get some food...feels like I'm hungry 24/7 here...but it doesn't matter cause it's pretty healty if you stay away from the rice, really good and cheap.

Not sure wht was going on yesterday but we had BBQ in the evening too. lol. This time a so much better bbq, KOREAN BBQ. WOW that was so frekin' tasty, I love it. Dinner for 3 and a bottle of wine, 80 kronor each. A whole plate with lamb, chicken and shripms...and all other assorted small plates with stuff. One of my favourites are as always Kimchi...

After dinner we deceided to talk a walk to Xintiandi. Very nice small area, but oh pricy...comparing to what we've been up to before. But maybe a visit here Saturday or so?

They are just sitting in McD and sleeping...
So we took a pic of Lan blessing this guy's head...hahahhaa!

The 3 muskiteers =)

Have a great day!
