Peking duck
Thursday, a day that we planned in the office, It wasn’t planned that I was going to be there today, from the beginning, but as the training took longer than expected and I had the time we decided that this day was necessary. At 6pm we had to leave the office for the dinner they planned with the sales staff, Cormac and Andreas, who just arrived from Sweden. I never had Peking Duck, but oh my…it as good. Kinda like tacos, you have your “burrito” bread and then take the duck and all other stuff to fill it, on with the sauce and you have yourself a yummy piece of food…lol. After a super good dinner, we said bye to the TC staff and Cormac, Andreas and me went looking for somewhere to sit and have a few drinks…easier said than done. Well, not like at home that there are bars and restaurants that serves most alcoholic beverages, but restaurants where you eat and no bar…and we weren’t really sure where to look so we walked around for a while. Then finally we found something that looked like a bad, but in the bar they only had tea…but on the menu we found 1 page with something stronger than tea. And I couldn’t resist the mango ice shake. Everything that contains any sort of “exotic” fruit I need to have…mango, pineapple, water melon…etc…a shake, and ice cream a ice shake…you name it but I gotta have it, just love it. And when you travel to warmer countries (than Sweden at least) all these fruits are so cheap =) Talking the taxi home that evening was going to be a test, I had no note on the street the apartment was so I had to remember the names or the crossing and trying to say it in Chinese so the taxi driver understood me…Let’s say like this…I made it my first attempt…wohooO! Ok I can’t even spell it but know how to say it…ask me the next time you see me, hehe.
