Gothenburg and Mahmutlar
Well, soon I'll be in my sweet city Gothenburg. On Friday I'll fly back to G-burg, as some friends of mine call it. I will go visit the folks this weekend, since they're leaving for Turkey next week, and this is the only opportunity I have to see them, during the 3 weeks that I'll be in Sweden. Mom and pops are going to our apartment in Alanya...and for all of you who haven't seen pictures of it...let me introduce you to...

3rd time is a charm
No TV in 3, soon 4 weeks. Mayne... that's a record BIG TIME. Nomally I turn on the TV as soon as I step inside of my apartment, but here...no TV in 4 weeks, and I ain't even missing it. We even have like 200 chanels here but I really don't miss the TV...Weird huh? So what's going on out in the world? Maybe I should watch some dutch news or something, not that I would understand half of it, but pictures are always good...

Oh shit, I talked to my mom yesterday, but someone was calling the office and I had to take that call. I told my mom I would call her back...That was 24 hours ago....and I have still not called her back. Oooops, nice daughter they have. I'll call her during the day...no big deal...and I think I'll send her and dad some flowers...a nice lil' friday surprise.

Back in Europe August 3rd...

This is my 3rd attempt to post this blog...First attempt, I fell asleep and when I woke up it was all gone and I had to start over...Second time, I got a blue screen and my computer shut off. Gauchos & Krush Groove
Seriously, if you looking for a place to eat in Rotterdam you have to go to the centrum on the street Aert van Nesstraat 99, zip code 3012 CA in Rotterdam Centrum. This place is number 1 on my restaurant list ever
GAUCHOS
The meat at that place...I just say OH M Y G O D. I've been to similar Gaucho restaurants here in Rotterdam before but this, this was somehting above the ordinary. I'll go there any day and any time. Someone intrested in a 1000g steak?
Yesterday, me and Sami bought us tickets to this Krush Groove event. http://www.krushgroove.nl/concept.php
We had no idea what kinda place this Maassilo place where, but why not give it a try? Good thing we did, the place was gigantic, 3 dance floors with live DJ's on each floor. Although this type of music is normally not my type, the place rocked. Especially the DJ Armand van Helden. He was damn good.
We danced for 4 hours and at 5 am, I gave up. My legs were tired (I'm getting old) but I'll be definitely be going back there, but next time I'll bring some ear plugs, cause dang...the hair on your arms was vibrating to the music, your boots where shakin' on the floor and your heart was beating to the beats. I'll bring some of my Monopoly money too, cause you had to buy the drinks with fake plastic money. Weird, but in a good way. LOL
Today Maassilo have this other music event, and it's opened until 7 am, so I can go directly to work from there tomorrow morning. It's on my way to work so I'll save a couple of minutes. Or NOT! Tonight I'll be sleepin' good!

Nintendo Wiiiiiiii
I was excited cause I have decided to go to the States this summer for 3 weeks, so I wrote wiiiiii in a sentence...by that saying it would be fun, like in Yaaaay but still like the wiiiiii. Then Jenn wrote:

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA, big time cracking down here in my apartment. LMAO.
Anyways, I just got my summer vacation confirmed, so I'll book my trip to the States now. Got some places that I have to go see while I'm there...Anyways, I can't wait until I see my girl Jenn and my boy Kristofer.

Public Transportation, Internet and a Wedding
How in heck do they think you can find out how to use the public transporttation here in Holland, when it's all in Dutch http://www.ret.nl/ My dutch is not THAT good so I can understand how to get to work...LOL I need to start taking those dutch classes really soon. Maybe this is something for me?
Monday morning I decided to try the metro and then change to a bus...sitting on the metro, I had this brainiac idea and thought I will walk the last part instead of taking the bus. Well, a lesson learned...
1. Don't decide to change ur plan since your underground on the metro
2. Why? Because it might rain outside and no umbrella avaliable
3. The bags...one computer and one other bag with other work things
4. You have no idea where to walk
5. ...or how long it will take
Do you really wanna know how that morning started? Read between the lines and let me say that I was not happy at all when I came to work,.....waaaay too late.
The good thing is that today, finally we got proper internet connection in the apartment. Thank god I live with two technicians who knows how to connect the things and make it wireless. It only took us 3 weeks to get it. First the internet supplier was here to check the connection. Then we waited for the modem and the wireless router. Finally we got it, but no, it didn't work. We called the internet supplier again and they sent one person over to check it, he needed to check the electricity looker. No key, he left. Grrrrrreat! But we found the master key in the office and one of the engineer made it all happen. Don't ask me how. I'm just glad I have internet.
Oh oh oh, I got a wedding invitation today...someone is getting maaaaaarried. I'm so happy for you and the future husband to be. So, I'll be going on my second wedding ever in my life and I look forward to it like nothing else...wiiiiiiii!
The wedding will be at Varbergs Fästning in my home town in the middle of the summer. I just say WOW. Look at the picture and see for yourself...

I got this urge to play Beer Pong on our balcony, but since it's not the season for it now, I just have to make sure we do it this summer. Check out the balcony in my apartment, imagine a table and some colorful cups...And what do we have? ~BEER PONG~

My new home
Rotterdam in Holland, for the next year or two...
I arrived yesterday to Amsterdam and had to find a train to Rotterdam, easier said than done. I think it took me a good 30minutes to even find out what train to take. I thought I'd ask some people what train to take. But most of the people are not from here, so I didn't get any helpful answers. Anyway, I found the train, dragged my 2 suitcases, computer bag and purse on the train and to my surprise I got of at the right stop. Normally I'm a maniac when I travel. You don't wanna travel with me. My new room mate came to pick me up at the Rotterdam Centraal. So here I am, in the new apartment at Eric Kropstraat, waiting for my luggage and belongings to be delivered tomorrow. Right now, it's just me, my computer and a bed.

Rotterdam
First day off from work here in Rotterdam and what would I do then? Well, I decided to go to a fitness club and get a membership. At 2.00pm I had an appointment with Robert. I borrowed the guys car and left our apartment at 1.30pm. Plenty of time...I thought. Turned out that I wasn't at the fitness club until 2.30pm.. 1 F***ING hour later...you must be thinking: What the hell was she doin? Well, let me say it like this...The maps over Rotterdam is lieing!!!!
Anyways, I ended up at signing a membership for FITNESS FIRST. Finally I can start working out again. Wohooo! I think that this fitness club might be the nicest and biggest one I ever been to. You get free drinks and fruit, your own headphones, back pack and you can even borrow the latest DVD movies for 2 days free of charge (like your own local video rental shop) That's what I call service!
So this is the end of my lazy days!!!!! And say hello to the new healthy life in Holland...LOL
