Gymmat, tankat bilen, handlat, hämtat paket på posten, diskat, städat, hängt upp tavlor, plockat undan julsakerna (hrmpf)...nu ska den sista matlagningen påbörjas innan kvällen...puuh..taking a nap won't fit in the schedule I think...

R.I.P Tommy, Q and lil'brother JB

This song was dedicated to Tommy Melby (R.I.P) by Q (R.I.P). It also got me thinking of my lil' brother JB (R.I.P). I had no idea that Q made a song for Tommy, and I get the chills when I hear it. Memories!

My all time fav girls (and god son)

I had to go home to V-town today, even though that the weather stinks. Since it was my birthday yesterday I had to go to see them so we could celebrate before they are leaving for the north. The going up skiing for a week now and I haven't seen the fam since mom's birthday (I posted some pics from my mom's bday on the HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM entry Jan.30)

I got this missy her first Halloween costume from Spain.
(I know it's early and it's too big for her,
but it'll fit her just on time to this years Halloween.
She will be the cutest halloween baby ever) ♥

Computer lunch

Since there is very few kronor left on my bank account I had to bring lunch to the office today. We're going out tonight, so I thought I could save 100 SEK and get two extra glasses of wine or a cocktail, lol. How economical of me, don't you think? lol

Greedy

I was starving, cooked come chicken breast, got too greedy and now I'm laying in the couch and can hardly move. Eating enough is not my thing, I always gotta eat too much. But you know, can't help lovin' food, lol. I should clean up some in the crib, put the dish in the dish washer, take a shower, unpack my bag, pack a new bag and then go to sleep...buuuut, I'll just chill here on the couch for a few more minutes , lol.

Afro Yoga

Sounds fun right? Naw, it's not a class, it's 2 different classes lol. I'm going to both in a few minutes. My foot i still not good so I gotta do some easier classes than the Body attack, when you jump constantly for 60 min...hopefully the afro is more shakin' some booty today, lol.

Tomorrow is my b-day and then we're going out! Julia is here from Stockholm so tomorrow it's on!!!

Frilly Blanket

One day I was in Marbella in Spain, and even though my suitcase was too full already, I couldn't resist buying this Frilly blanket @ Zara home, it's soo cute and comfy and a perfect match to my couch. You gotta see it!

I just love that store and I'm also getting my bedspread, some cushion covers and new bed linen from there, but I need to purchase that online, since it couldn't fit on my already overloaded suitcase lol.

Working on my vacation in Spain

Yep, that's me...working on my vacation now in Spain, or more helping out a good friend to renovate his bar, that he just bought. He's opening in a few weeks/month (not really sure when) and I have too many weeks of vacation left @ work so I thought I might as well go here and help him out with the painting. Here's some before and after pictures...

Starting to look like a bar now, doesn't it? So when you travel down south you have to go visit his lounge bar, DELUXE LOUNGE Bar in Benalmadena. I know that I'll be coming back to visit in the end of the summer with some friends. To see the place in action not just as a construction work place, lol. Now I'm done here, the painting is done and I can relax the last 1,5 day.

Along with the beach here in the Puerto Marina, I guess will be really crowded in the summer, and I hope when I come back in like, let's say September, the weather will be nice and we will go for a swim. Cause now it's a bit too cold. Yesterday it was only 10 C degrees, but this day when I took the pics, it was probably around 20 during the day.

And this morning, when we walked to the bar, all sea gulls were gathered at one place on the beach. It was like they only had permission to sit at this spot on the beach...I was really amazed and while I was walking forward, but still looking back at them, I almost fell over a big concrete block. But luckily I was carruing a bag and it hit the concrete block first and I got a wake up call and moved out of the way in last second. Man, imagine me falling over a big concrete block, dayme, me knee would have crushed...aaaaooooch!

Paella & Sangria

That was the goal for tonight after a hard day working at the bar. But we had a pizza instead, stone oven baked italian pizza, and some red wine. That was tasty...so the paella and sangria will have to wait until another day. Most of the days it's been really nice weather, like 16-20 degrees, but today it was clody, rainy and a bil chilly. And ppl, don't think I have a great tan or so...I'm renovating a bar, meaning that I'm indoors painting, cleaning and taking down/putting up new ceiling...I was gonna post some pics, but since I'm not on my laptop I cannot transfer any pics. I will do that when I get home, show you the before and after pictures. Amazing what you have time to do in 7 days, that I say. Even though we're putting in several hours, sometimes more than normal office hours, it's not very tirering and I don't see this as work, it's fun, you don't have to think and you can wake up and go to sleep whenever you want. Vacation but some "free" work I would call it. My shoulders are sore and my feet are killing me. But the feet issue, that's old...from last weeks Boday attack, lol. Only 3 left days, then I'm heading home to Sweden...

Benalmadena

So, I'm here now, it's about 20 degrees outside and during the evenings about 16 outside. You could say it's very relaxing and comfortable weather. This is what it looks just right outside the Lounge bar.

Back to work, gotta take down the roof now and keep painting!

Packing for Spain

Or at least trying to...not going so well, since I packed 1 big suitcase and 1 carry on. And planned to bring home a lot of Spanish food and some drinks for my bday party. Hmm, I think I have to re-pack and re-organize what to bring. haha. This is where I'm going:

First I think I need to east sum, before I do anything more not so clever. My body is shaking, me and Vic went to a Kettlebell class and a Core class...damn, the legs is like hello parkinson. And since Vic is so sweet, she will drive me to the airport tomorrow at 5.30, BIG TIME THANK YOU! And I expect Anton to come pick me up since he's got my car while I'm gone =) Oh and talking abou the car, I just got it fixed for 5500 kronor. Yes, 1500 kronor for the trouble shooting and 4000 for the repair and new start engine. Man I'm so broke now!

Car Service

Tomorrow I'm getting my car to the service shop, I need it to be fixed once and for all which I should have done the last time, but now I have to spend a couple of more 1000 kronor. That sucks! I wanna get a new car, a BMW 120, bronz metallic with the M-package...a beauty!
