I did it this year too...having only 2 more flights until freakin' Gold status on Flying Blue. Who does that twice in a row? 2008 and 2009...Why ain't I smart enough to travel with the same Air line in order to get more frequent flyer miles with the same program? Geeez, I'm really tired of myself, did 28 flights with KLM and 12 flights with other airlines this year and still...if I only taken KLM on 2 of those other flights I'd be having a Gold card. Crap!
